CHAOS

Let’s CHAOS – Let’s Create a High-tech Accessible Opportunities for Sustainable Future

The project aims to enhance the quality of education and increase the international attractiveness of the educational offer of the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering (WEEIA) at Lodz University of Technology (TUL), by launching intensive, interdisciplinary English-taught learning opportunities addressed to the international academic community within the ECIU network.
As part of the initiative, five Intensive International Education Programmes will be developed and delivered: two editions for students, two editions for doctoral students and one edition for academic staff (stationary, with preparatory online component). Learning will be organised around Challenge-Based Learning (CBL), supported by trainer–facilitators and high-tech experts.
The hybrid programmes will combine: (1) online introduction and team set-up, (2) intensive week-long on-site workshops at TUL, and (3) online wrap-up with project summaries and reporting. The programmes will emphasize advanced ICT and emerging technologies used in creative, accessible, and human-centric ways to support a sustainable future.
Participation will involve an international cohort recruited from ECIU partner universities as well as TUL. Participants will complete learning-outcome validation and receive certificates strengthening their professional portfolios and global employability.
Additionally, two micro-modules (one for students and one for doctoral students) will be developed as durable outcomes of the project and made available to the ECIU education offer after project completion, with the final versions published on the Engage ECIU platform.
The project is being implemented from June 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026.
The total value of the project is PLN 1,107,595.00.
The project is implemented under the NAWA SPINAKER programme – Intensive International Education Programmes (call 2024) financed from the European Fund for Social Development 2021-2027 (FERS)
